East Meets West - The Berlin Wall, a Composite
"Breakthrough" is a sculpture made from part of the Berlin Wall by the granddaughter of Winston Churchill. It stands on the campus of Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, where Churchill made his famous Iron Curtain speech. This is a composite made from shots of the sculptures, juxtaposing the starkness of the Communist side with the creative exuberance of the Capitalist and Democracy side.
